Give plain glass a refined architectural finish with our Rain Gradation Frosted Privacy Window Film. Fine horizontal lines gradually transition from a denser frosted area to a lighter, clearer section, softening direct views while allowing natural light to continue through the glass.
Inspired by the subtle appearance of falling rain, the linear design creates a cleaner and more structured look than a standard fully frosted film. It is an elegant choice for Australian homes, offices and commercial interiors where selected privacy is needed without making the space feel dark or enclosed.
Made in the Republic of Korea from self-adhesive PET film, it features a durable 2H scratch-resistant surface coating and is designed for clean, smooth and flat glass.

Key Features
Rain-Inspired Linear Gradation
Closely spaced horizontal lines gradually become finer and less visible across the design. The transition adds privacy where it is needed while leaving part of the glass visually lighter.
Natural-Light Friendly
The pattern softens the direct view rather than covering the whole pane with a solid opaque finish, helping the room retain a bright and open appearance.
UV Protection
The manufacturer specifies 98% UV rejection, which can help reduce UV exposure to furnishings, curtains and interior finishes. Fading is influenced by several factors, so the film cannot prevent all fading.
Surface Durability
A 2H scratch-resistant coating helps protect the film during normal use and makes routine cleaning easier.
Dimensional Stability
The PET construction and surface coating are designed to reduce unwanted shrinking, lifting and deformation when the film is installed correctly on a compatible glass surface.
Adhesive-Backed Finish
The self-adhesive film uses a wet-application method. The water allows the film to be repositioned before it is secured by removing moisture with a squeegee.

How to Install
This film uses a wet-installation method. For the best result, install it on clean, smooth and flat glass.
-
Measure the glass. Measure the width and height of each panel carefully.
-
Cut the film oversized. Leave approximately 2–3cm of extra film around each side for final trimming.
-
Clean the glass thoroughly. Remove all dust, grease, dirt and adhesive residue. Small particles can remain visible beneath the film.
-
Separate the backing liner. Place a small piece of tape on each side of one corner, slightly offset. Pull the pieces apart to separate the clear liner from the film.
-
Wet the surfaces. As you peel away the liner, spray the adhesive side generously with water mixed with a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid. Spray the glass thoroughly as well.
-
Position the film. Hold the film by the top corners and place the wet adhesive side against the wet glass. Slide it gently into position and check the direction of the gradation pattern.
-
Squeegee out the water. Working from the centre towards the edges, use a squeegee to remove water and air pockets.
-
Trim the edges. Use a hard card and a sharp knife to trim the excess film in one smooth motion.
-
Allow it to dry. A hazy appearance or small water pockets can be visible during the initial drying period. Avoid disturbing the edges while the adhesive cures.
